It depends. If it was really melty then you couldn't if it wasn't then you could stick the chopsticks underneath the ice cream and eat it that way.
It is possible... and once it gets really melty you can just drink it.... but it's not quite as good when it's that melty

It is also possible to eat a 3-inch-high stack of whipped cream on top of a very hot cup of cocoa with little cardboard coffee-stirrers. When done with three or more college students, it is also very highly amusing to watch.
i have done it before. very mesy.
